Cross Country

This year’s Cross Country is also very different from last year. Last year, we had our Cross Country at the Nanyang Poly while this year, we had it at the Macritchie Reservoir. All the students and staff from Chong Boon Sec Sch were to report at Macritchie Reservoir for the Cross Country.

After the form teachers from each class had taken our attendance, Mr Tan gave us a briefing on what would happen next. Secondary 2 students went to Lim Bo Seng's tomb and Miss Sasi explained to us about Lim Bo Seng's contributions to Singapore when he was alive as this chapter will be taught in history after our June Holidays.By the time Ms Sasi had finished explaining about Lim Bo Seng's contributions, it was time for the Lower Sec Girls to run. While we were running, we saw some monkeys. Lower sec girls started to walk after running some distance. I was feeling tired too, so I walked. After the race had ended, my friends and I went to buy drinks for ourselves.The prize presentation was next. Some of our classmates won the prize. It was a fun but tiring day for us.
